Tarot started appearing in 14th century in Italy and France. And start popular in 1700s. Tarot card originally use for playing card. In 1800s Arthur Edward Waite believes that images in tarot deck can represent symbols for wide variety. With Pamela Colman, A.E Waite creates the original Rider Waite Smith deck.
There is 78 tarot cards and split in 2 parts: major arcana (22 cards) and minor arcana (56 cards). Major arcana begin with the fool cards, which is represent the journey and the other card represent the stages of this journey. Each cards Different meaning for upright and reversed cards.
The Minor arcana consist of 4 category : Wands, Cups, Swords, and pentacles. Wands represent fire element, describe about your general activity, creativity, ambitions, energy, business. Cups represent water element and describe about emotion,love, illusion, relationship. Swords represent air element, describe about conflict, sorrow, communication. Pentacles represent Earth element, describe work, wealth. Each category in minor arcana has one of the court cards : ace, page, queen king. These cards represent people in your life and the others card represent your daily life.
